CMT - Cut, Make, Trim

Cut, Make, Trim manufacturing is a service provided by us where we essentially cut, make and trim your designs into fully produced products. We work on every specifications, tech packs, fabrics, patterns and stitching as per your requirements.

FPP - Full production package

If you are new fashion business, you will have an idea of the garments and designs that you want to achieve. To make this hand sketched design a reality, we assist in the development, and turn simple hand-sketched drawings into full-spec designs.

About Us

Clean Planet is your one-stop destination for sustainable textile manufacturing solutions. Based out of Scarborough, Toronto, we are textile manufacturing experts, driven with a mission to develop and produce products that meet regulatory requirements with outstanding design, comfort and efficiency. Our core competency lies in manufacturing processes that are aligned with both CMT (Cut-Measure-Trim) and FPP (Full production package) for all flavors of textile manufacturing. Clean Planet also works with local designers by helping them with cost effective manufacturing solutions. We aim to create an ecosystem of creative designers by providing them with a platform for design, manufacturing and generating demand by means of an online fashion marketplace.

Medical Apparel Unit

Our medical apparel division at 5595 Finch Ave East, Scarborough supplies everything from heavy-duty PPE units to masks, providing an all-inclusive range of medical safety supplies that cover the needs of the health care sector who are at the frontlines of the battle against the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Our dedicated service and adherence to the quality standards have provided a high level of satisfaction for clients including medical professionals and health care providers across the country since August 2020. Carrying an extensive, ever-evolving selection at competitive prices with quick delivery services, Clean Planet constantly devises ways to pool the design and manufacturing expertise of our employees to make our latest equipment easily accessible to health care organisations under pressure to handle rising patient demands. With streamlined systems in place to guarantee quality, accuracy and on-time delivery, the workforce at Clean Planet strives to minimize the impact of the disease with the production of millions of PPE units and masks daily. Clean Planet’s commitment to inclusion embraces diversity as a source of innovation, with a team of over 50 members — ranging from students to professionals experienced in the field — from a diverse array of backgrounds and ethnicities working together in harmony to create protective gear that is a cut above the rest. Co-Founder

Gagan Singh is a seasoned entrepreneur whose work leaves a mark in the world of fashion and textile production. He was instrumental in the enabling of Production at the Fashion Exchange at George Brown College, a platform has helped more than a hundred artists, startups and fashion students with their manufacturing needs. With a B.Tech in Textile Technology and an Associate’s degree in fashion business program from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, he is an innovator and is passionate about sustainable fashion production and manufacturing.

Akin Pandit

An entrepreneur based in Toronto, Akin Pandit is a computer science engineer with a background in artificial intelligence and fashion. He is the co-founder of Clean Planet and is dedicated to the idea of promoting sustainable fashion and manufacturing solutions in Canada. He is a stronger believer in the Make in Canada initiative and philosophy.

Vijay Thomas

Vijay is the CEO of Tangentia Ventures who are strategic investors in Clean Planet. He is also the Founder & CEO of Tangentia, an agile digital transformation company, headquartered in Toronto, with operations globally primarily in Canada, India and the USA. Vijay founded Tangentia Ventures Limited in 2017 to invest in early-stage companies in global technology services, ‘make local’ manufacturing and niche eCommerce services in Canada and India. Vijay is active in multiple local and global business organizations and is the Vice President of the Indo Canadian Chamber of Commerce where he started the popular Thursday Talks webinar series, President of the Hullmark Corporate Centre and member of the steering committee of the proposed Willowdale BIA. He grew up in Goa, India and then lived in Chennai, Boston, Montreal and now calls Toronto home for the last 15+ years.
